Telemetry Sources & Aircraft Identification
New sources are visible only to program managers. Share with all program users only when appropriate. Source keys expire after 90 days; rotating a key immediately invalidates its predecessor.
Remote ID does not provide battery level, camera direction or full controller telemetry. No observations change pilot hours, flight status or assignments. API responses and observations are not stored in offline drafts.
FLIGHT PLANNING

COW: Quick Process
- Confirm qualifying public-aircraft use, current waiver, and agency-approved PIC/aircraft. Keep the waiver at the control station.
- Check current UASFM, NOTAMs/TFRs and the entire mission area. VLOS: at or below 400 ft AGL or the UASFM ceiling, whichever is lower. Additional approval is needed outside the waiver limits.
- Confirm aircraft readiness, crew briefing, weather, command link, launch/recovery site, obstacles and nearby aviation. Visibility must be at least 1 statute mile; remain clear of clouds. Keep anti-collision lights operating day and night.
- Set lost-link RTH within provision 29, including its 200 ft / obstruction / UASFM constraints. Coordinate with responding crewed aircraft and give way.
- Record every flight and monthly totals. Report fly-aways, loss of control and close encounters under provisions 31 and 37–38.
Urgent response: provision 30 makes its hazard checklist optional during critical/urgent emergency management operations. This does not waive the rest of the COW or department requirements.

BVLOS: provisions 11 and 35–36 have separate altitude and ADS-B receiver requirements. The public aircraft feed in this app is not verified to satisfy them.

Original JPEG/PNG images and PDFs, up to 20 MB each; flights also accept original DJIFlightRecord .txt logs. Aircraft export profiles also accept original reference KMZ mission files. Keep originals until transfer is verified. This release provides standard records, not an evidence chain-of-custody system.
For First Due: export annotated PNGs, or open the report and Print → Save as PDF, then attach the files in your inspection. No automatic First Due transfer is configured.

MFA adds a six-digit code after your password when you sign in. Set up one authenticator app approved by your department.
- Choose an app. Use one of the options below; you only need one.
- Add your SLFD account. Enter your personal password in the setup form below to display the QR code and manual key. Scan the QR code with your authenticator. On the same phone, switch to the authenticator and enter the manual key instead.
- Verify and save. Return here and enter the current six-digit SLFD code, then save your recovery codes privately before continuing.
Same Phone, Code Problems, Or A Lost Authenticator?
For manual entry, use the setup key displayed on this page. If asked, choose time-based codes, six digits, a 30-second interval and SHA-1. Return to this page to verify a current code. Keep the QR code and key private.
If a code fails, select the SLFD entry, wait for a fresh code and check that your phone date and time are set automatically. Your eight-character temporary invitation password is separate from the six-digit authenticator code.
Save recovery codes somewhere private. Each works once in the authenticator or recovery-code field at sign-in. If you lose your authenticator and recovery codes, contact your SLFD administrator for the existing MFA reset process.
Administrators and users with sensitive-video access must complete setup before accessing video or administration.
In your authenticator app, choose Add account, then Scan QR code.
Use Duo Mobile, Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator, Apple Passwords, or another department-approved TOTP app.
Cannot scan? Enter the setup key below manually. Choose time-based codes: six digits, 30 seconds, SHA-1. Keep this key and QR code private.
Save these single-use recovery codes securely before continuing. They can restore access if you lose your authenticator. They are shown only once.

Full Controller Sync: log/media uploads, previews, diagnostics, pairing and streaming setup, plus default voice, optional C3/floating PTT and voice audio controls. Requires Android 8 or later.
Updating 0.4.4? Install in place; do not uninstall. Pairing and folders remain. This update fixes Android 10 headset routing and adds microphone input status.
Replacing 0.4.2? This release uses a new signing key. Verify uploads are complete, uninstall the old app, install this APK, then pair again and select folders. Do not run two upload queues for the same folder.
Setup And Verification
Pair through Flights → Controller import inbox. For an existing controller record, renew its pairing credential before pairing the replacement app. Select log and media folders independently. Growing-log tests still require a current administrator grant and consent.
Voice joins the assigned default muted. In Pilot voice, configure optional C3 PTT or Floating PTT. C3 needs manually enabled Android accessibility access; its code checks only the verified RC Pro C3 button and does not read screen contents. While joined with talk permission, C3 is reserved for PTT and its DJI action is suppressed. Other controls pass through. Release mutes; maximum talk is 60 seconds.
Verify two-way voice and interruption mute grounded before use. User physical tests verified C3 input with DJI Fly open; full voice acceptance remains separate.

These settings apply to new browser broadcasts and viewing sessions. External camera capture settings stay in DJI Mimo, DJI Pilot/Fly or the encoder.
Actual resolution and bitrate depend on the device, browser and uplink. Existing connections keep their current settings until restarted.
VIDEO OPERATIONS

Temporary Guest Access
Guests can view only their shared feed. Expiration is three hours after link creation. First login binds the link to one browser.
DJI Action / Pocket, Webcams & Other Sources
DJI Mimo: A video manager selects Add camera / external publisher, names the camera, enters DJI Mimo as the app, and chooses RTMP. Open that source’s Publisher setup to download its private connection address. Connect the camera in Mimo, select livestream / custom RTMP, and paste the supplied address. Use the camera’s supported network connection.
Supported native streaming models include Osmo Action, DJI Action 2, Action 3/4/5 Pro/6, DJI Pocket 2 and Osmo Pocket 3/4. Original Osmo Pocket does not support native livestreaming. Exact model/accessory requirements and actual Mimo authentication compatibility must be checked during testing.
Webcam / USB camera: Choose Broadcast this device, grant camera permission, then select a camera and preview it. A compatible camera in USB webcam mode can be selected on a computer. Start broadcast when ready.
OBS / streaming encoders: Register an external publisher and use its private RTMP connection settings. SRT, RTSP and RTMPS require their listeners and network access to be commissioned; registration does not enable them. Pulling from a remote IP camera requires a separate server-side connector and reachable network.
